The 2009 Ford Focus RS is the newest version of the Ford Focus rally bred car that has competed at the highest levels of Rally Car racing in Europe. Ford has a history unparalleled in the auto industry that has some remarkable cars under it’s belt. I am always confused however as to why the Europeans consistently get vehicles that we will never see in the companies motherland. Why is that? Is the American market too unsophisticated for a radical design. To un-passionate to drive a race bred car on the American roads? I don’t think so! It actually upsets me that the European market always gets cooler cars to drive and then we hear about how the car companies are suffering so bad. I think that the automakers need to raise the bar a little, no scratch that, a whole lot more. We can handle it. Come on Ford. This new Focus RS would sell like hot cakes over here. The streets are flooded with Honda’s, Subaru’s, Mitsubishi’s, BMW’s and other vehicles that include the driver in it’s design. The muscle car is simply inefficient and quickly becoming a dinosaur relegated to race track only status. This new Ford RS is the cat’s meow. It’s quick, nimble, powerful, seats four and has a hatch back. We need this car. Get it! Enough said. Here are the stats: Front Engine, 2.5 liter Five Cylinder, 4 valves per cylinder in a double overhead cam. KKK Turbo charged. 300 Bhp and 302 ft/lbs. of Torque. 0 to 60 in 5.9 seconds. Oh yeah, don’t be shocked by the neon green scheme, it does come in all the normal colors. FORD
