Is this the Smarter Car? The Lumeneo Smera is powered by two electrical motors putting out 1000nm of torque to the rear wheels. The performance figures are fantastic with 0-60mph of 8.0 seconds. The Range is 90 miles per charge. There are zero emissions with this vehicle. This Smera seats one and has a curb weight of only 770 lbs. The Smera has sharp lines and a slim silhouette with a rear hatch back. Interior is a luxury cocoon with fine leather and broad doors. There is a central LCD display and central command cockpit controls. The Smera will be available for sale in the UE late October 2008, hopefully it will come to the United States. So I know the Smart Car carries two passengers however it does run on petrol. You be the judge on who’s smarter…. LUMENEO
