Vespa – Ape Calessino

From Piaggio, the makers of the iconic Vespa scooter is this 3 to 4 person Electric or Diesel vehicle called the Ape Calessino.  It looks at home on the Isle of Capri or tooling around the city centers of Roma or Firenze but, hopefully soon you can own your own electric Ape Calessino for tooling around Venice, or Santa Monica or even Manhattan, NY.  Okay, maybe not Manhattan NY, but for sure the Hamptons or perhaps Martha’s Vineyard.  Heck, why stop there, these things would be a much more aesthetic change on the Hollywood back lots than those bland golf carts or club cars.  These are movie star vehicles, yes, Clooney would look at home chewing out the figures on his latest deal with his agent, seated in one.  Let’s bring back some glamor to the movie business anyway.  I digress, the Ape Calessino comes in either Electric or Diesel versions, blue or burgundy accents on vintage creamy white.  Retro chrome touches and white wall tires finish off the vintage look perfectly. There is even a wicker basket at the rear for storage or for carrying your fresh farmers market finds. Piaggio Ape Calessino
