Ferrari FF

No, your eyes aren’t deceiving you.  This is the first look at the Ferrari FF, the four seat, all wheel drive, hatch back.  That’s right hatch back.  Reminiscent of the BMW M-Coupe’s rear end.  Almost as if a new 599 mated with an M-Coupe.  But this is no obliteration, this is a true Ferrari. For my taste, I love it.  I’m sure there will be a lot of debate over the purity of this new design.  For practicality sake, it almost seems perverse to mention it in the same sentence as Ferrari.  What’s next, a hybrid??????  The stats are:

A 6.3-liter V12 engine with direct injection and Ferrari’s HELE tech with a stop/start system. A 12-cylinder engine, putting out 660-horses at 8,000 rpm.  A dual-clutch F1 gearbox. 0-100km/h [62mpin 3.7 seconds and 335 km/h (208 mph).  Fuel economy is 15.4 lt/100km, which is 15.3 mpg US, with CO2 emission of 360 g/km. Curb weight is 1,790 kg or 3,946 pounds. Power to Weight ratio is 2.7 kg/hp.

It also includes the futuristic magnetorheological damping system (SCM3), as well as the latest carbon-ceramic brakes from Brembo.

This newest model is to debut at the Geneva Motor Show in March.  Until then, I suppose. FERRARI FF
