From Onitsuka Tiger’s Asics, the Japanese sports shoe maker comes these new designs.  Driven by the idea to give young people a perspective in life through sport.  Founded in 1949, Onitsuka Tigers began it’s quest. The first inspiration was from the tentacles of an Octopus that would stick to the bottom of a bowl.  This gave birth to the first sneaker to have suction cups on the soles.  Today Onitsuka Tiger still makes some of the coolest, most comfortable sneakers.  They are retro-classics with simple stripes over bold solid colors and avant-garde models teaming up with Tokidoki, a Roman designer and artist, named Simone Legno.  Tokidoki which means “Sometimes” in Japanese is the mantra.  The Tokdoki art is graphic, japanes anime characters.  Let’s hope that “Sometime” soon, you will get a pair. ONITSUKA TIGER
