K-Swiss Luxe Line Tennis Shoes
Back in the days when I was a teenager or rather 1976′s to 1982 K-Swiss was THE shoe, at least in Los Angeles. We wore them with our Fila Sweatsuits, Sergio Tacchini or LaCoste tennis gear. I guess the look we were going for was “Early country club/playboy chic”. Everybody had to have a fresh pair of K-Swiss‘, clean enough to eat off of. We had all kind of ways to scrub the white rubber soles but inevitably when there was a scuff we couldn’t remove, we’d chuck them without hesitation. You couldn’t be caught dead with a pair of dirty K-Swiss‘. Even for those of us who played Tennis on a regular basis, you would have one pair just for the court. So with this new “Luxe-line from K-Swiss“, you know I’m diggin’ it. Besides everything in “retro” these days anyway, why not wear kicks that we really wore back in the day. The “Luxe-line” comes in Classic White, Chocolate Brown, and a Graphite/Dove Gray color. Go ahead homeboy, go old school. K-SWISS
