Spiral Cellars

I think this is a cool way to keep your wine collection and your sanity.  It is called the Spiral Cellar and unless you live on the east coast or north and have a basement in your home you will find housing your growing wine collection a pain at times.  Personally at my home, I always need more space for other things and it’s hard to devote an entire room for my wine collection.  This Spiral Cellar is the perfect solution.  Not only is it out of the way, but you can even install it under your garage floor or smack in the middle of your Kitchen floor with the glass door option for showcasing your prized collection.  The Spiral Cellar is recessed into the ground, and a spiral staircase which is lined with your wine collection spirals down to the bottom.  You have the option of 6 1/2 foot deep or up to 9 3/4 feet deep.  The latter can house up to 1600 bottles in a naturally climate controlled space.  The Spiral Cellar company also installs a ventilation unit that maintains the perfect atmosphere and humidity.   The doors come in a recessed version for use with matching hardwood, laminate flooring, a steel reinforced version for use in your garage floor and a reinforced glass door for overhead viewing of your collection. The units are not cheap as you’d expect but to me this is a great addition to a home remodel, or new construction project that eases up the other space for storage and offers something unique for the wine collector.  SPIRAL CELLARS
