Pre-Election Night – November 3rd, 2008 9PM

I write this in the hopes that this can be a cooler place for all of us.  Not just here in America, but for all people everywhere.  Stability, economic security, health, the environment, these are not exclusive needs and desires of only one country.  However as one of the largest countries in the world, a vote for Mr. Obama will send a resounding statement to people everywhere, that, pardon the cliche, can give a glimmer of hope.  That feeling you get when you think deep in your gut, your heart of hearts that even you, that’s right, you can make it.  There is a strong chance of hope despite whatever odds you were born into.  This goes for everyone, everywhere.  So tonight, I will cross my fingers, my toes and my heart and pray, yes, pray that tomorrow brings hope and change everywhere.
