Cachaca Aguadiente
Cachaca, or Aguardiente “Fire Water” is the perfect spring/summer cocktail from Brazil. Cachaca produced only in Brazil is made from distilled sugar cane juice. It differs from Rum in that it is not made from molasses. Caipirinha, is the perfectly typical Brazilian cocktail. To make one all you need are fresh limes or tangerines for a Tangerinha, pulverize a whole one in your glass with a reamer, fill the glass with ice and add two teaspoons of fine granulated sugar then top off with no more than two shots of Cachaca and enjoy. Do be careful because it packs quite a punch so make sure that you’re prepared to enjoy it fully. The three brands below are but a few that you may find however I do recommend either one.
