Hotel Marques de Riscal – Winery
This place combines three of my favorite things in the world. Architecture, Wine, Spanish Cuisine. Designed by architect Frank O. Gehry, (Guggenheim Museum, Bilbao, Walt Disney Music Center, L.A.) Located in the heart of the “City of Wine” Spains Rioja region. Nestled among the vineyards of the Marques de Riscal winery, the hotel boast 11 Suites, 43 Guest rooms, as well as a Caudalie Vinotherapie Spa with 14 treatment rooms offering a wide variety of “wine therapy” massage treatments. All the products are made from grape extracts and mineral water, created exclusively by Caudalie Vinotherapie. In the Hotel is the Marques de Riscal restaurant and the 1860 Restaurant, with an elite selection of wines of the world and the best traditional Basque-Riojan cuisine.
